- Led team of 15, revamped ABT from nascent to dynamic organization, and handled budget of INR 150,000

International Genetically Engineered Machine
Project Lead (2015)

Detecting Food Spoilage Using Quorum Sensing Systems in Escherichia coli:
- Represented IIT Kharagpur at the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition’s Giant Jamboree at Boston during September 24-28, 2015
- Spearheaded IIT Kharagpur’s first-ever participation in this flagship event
- Developed a food contamination detection kit using genetically engineered E. coli that changes sample color to red to indicate contamination
- Led team of 15 members on all aspects of project (ideation, experimental workflow, project website development, policy and practice activities, and collaborative initiatives with other teams across the globe)

Technology Robotix Society
Technical Head (2014-15)

- Conducted all autonomous robotics events of IIT Kharagpur’s annual tech fest Kshitij in 2015 (participation: 485 teams, prize money: INR 300,000)
- Prototyped robots, executed video editing and conducted technical workshops across India, each attended by 200-300 students
